How Jesus loves children! Read through the Gospels, and it becomes quickly obvious that Jesus loves children. Not only does Jesus spend time with children in and amongst the crowds that followed Him, but He often encouraged those who follow Him to do so "like a little child." Children are simple. Children are transparent. God LOVES these qualities of simplicity and transparency. When Jesus, the Messiah, was walking the earth, so many people missed seeing God in plain sight! T

In Matthew 18:3 we read, “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” Setting the context for this Scripture, Jesus’ disciples were arguing amongst themselves asking, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” Essentially, they were asking, Who is going to hold the highest position of greatness in Jesus’ Kingdom? They were concerned about their own greatness. Jesus sets a child as an example to them. C
