Holy Week

Holy Week! Christians all around take this week to remember Jesus. We remember the triumphal entry into Jerusalem…Jesus riding upon a colt, the foal of a donkey, palm branches waving in the air and covering the ground, surrounded by shouts of “Hosanna, blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” Jesus didn’t come as a political Messiah. He came as a humble King! THE King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
I am so thankful for Jesus. He has literally showed us how to live. Jesus walked the earth with purpose, compassion, devotion, kindness, joy…regardless of His circumstances. I have so much to learn from Jesus.
Many of our students here at KKC come from homes where Jesus is beloved. We love supporting moms and dads as they raise their little ones to know Jesus’ love for them. Often our little KKC students light up when we sing about Jesus love in songs like “Jesus Loves Me.” It means so much to them.
Jesus came as a humble King! THE King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
We will experience a lot of emotions this Holy Week. But let me encourage you to intentionally take time to express your thanksgiving to Jesus for ALL that He means to you and all that He has done for you! He is so worthy of our praise and celebration this Easter.
