Bigger is not always better

Bigger is not always better! Have you ever been surrounded by people yet felt alone? Have you ever been tucked into a large group yet felt unseen? Sometimes having a lot of people around us doesn’t always serve to develop us personally.
At Kids Kare, we put a premium on small class sizes. Small class sizes enable each toddler and student to be valued and seen as individuals with strengths and areas yet to be further developed. Our teachers are fabulous at employing multiple teaching expressions which speak directly to students who learn across various learning styles. Small class sizes also allow for more direct student – teacher interaction whereby students really do feel seen and heard.
As a teacher, my favorite moments of the day are in the individual conversations with students. Hearing their feedback to new content they are learning about in class, listening to their excitement around games they played at recess, or sharing moments of celebration around the classroom over a birthday or an academic success. Small student/teacher ratios enable our teachers to show great value and love, compassion and care for the students. At Kids Kare we are so blessed by the infants, toddlers, and students God has given us, and it is an absolutely blessing to see these students individually as the gifts of God that they are!
